CURRENT OFFERINGS
Every class begins with a greeting/warm-up activity, followed by movement & and mindfulness practice, and ends with guided relaxation. No previous yoga experience is needed for any of the class offerings.
Class Descriptions
Little Seedlings
Ages 2-4 years old
This class is all about play and discovery! We explore yoga concepts through movement, songs, storybooks, games, and more. Every class incorporates sensory exploration and helps little ones develop body and spatial awareness and self-regulation/relaxation skills, all while having loads of fun!
Little Sprouts
5-8 years old
Imagination and creativity drive this class! Together we go on a themed yoga journey that incorporates imaginative play, music, children’s literature, interactive games and more. Children will be encouraged to share their voice, connect with one another and will learn and practice important self-regulation/relaxation skills to use beyond the mat!
Branching Out
9-13 years old
In this class we use the practice of yoga to cultivate positive self-regard, self-esteem, and connection to one another. Through engaging in yoga asana (postures) and guided mindfulness activities and games, participants gain skills and strategies to confidently navigate the range of emotions they experience in their daily lives.
Family yoga
All Ages
This class is all about connecting with your little ones! Children and their grown ups will enjoy this special time to move, breathe, and play together. Families will learn and practice fun, effective strategies both on and off the mat for connecting and relaxing together. This class is intended for all families and for children of all ages.
BABY & ME YOGA
6 Weeks-12 months
Baby & Me Yoga encourages caregiver/child bonding while also providing the caregiver much needed moments of self-care and building resilience through engaging in small, bite size moments of mindfulness, breath-work, and gentle yoga sequences designed to both release tension and build strength. Participants will also learn some “baby yoga” poses for their little one; designed to promote early body awareness, autonomy, and flexibility.
Mindful move & make
Adapted for Various Ages
Participants will enjoy a fun blend of yoga, mindfulness, and art expression! Together we will engage our senses and self-expression. Each class includes a physical yoga practice, mindfulness practice, and a themed mindful art project/craft.
